Experience

Aura Engineering, LLC has worked with many clients and industries to solve environmental issues and develop projects. The personnel at Aura have a strong background in process design (pumping systems, piping systems, heat transfer, etc.),  combustion systems (flare systems, thermal oxidizers, burner management, and incinerators), carbon adsorption systems, absorptions systems (lean oil, refrigerated, water scrubbers), and refrigeration systems.

We have worked for clients in a diverse range of applications such of refining (Exxon, Atofina, Tesoro), chemical plants (BP Chemical, Eastman Chemical, WilsonArt International, Westlake Chemical), storage terminals (Intercontinental Terminals, Kinder Morgan, LBC, VoPak, Stolt, Oiltanking, Odfjell), and cleaning facilities (T.T. Barge Cleaning, VoPak Industrial, Southwest Shipyard).

One of our major areas of expertise is in the handling and disposal of combustible vapors. These applications generally involve combustion and flammable materials, and have the potential for severe damage to property and personnel if not designed properly. Aura has designed systems for collecting combustible and flammable vapors for ship, barge, truck,  rail, and container loading operations, and for ship, barge, truck rail and container cleaning. Aura can advise the best methods for inerting, enriching or diluting streams to provide safe operation, and can also provide the proper equipment to control and monitor the facilities.
